About

Reader, writer, editor, traveller… so many things but refining all the time.

A Masters graduate, avid reader and punchy writer

I was born in Faro, Portugal in the Eighties. It was a dream childhood – orchards, dogs, beaches and fantastic food.

I moved to the UK when I was 5 years old. After studying at a local school in my hometown, I spent my Sixth Form at Hillsroad Sixth Form College in Cambridge.

Armed with good A-levels, I moved to Bristol and took my Undergraduate and Masters degrees in Classics with an Erasmus Year in Bordeaux, France.

My working experience has been eclectic. I’ve been a waitress, bar staff, shop assistant, French teacher, Latin teacher, private tutor, tour guide, au pair and an Early Years Practitioner. I’ve also been an ESL teacher in Taiwan for almost two years and I’ve been working as a freelance writer and editor for the last three years. Variety is the spice of life and I like to keep things interesting!
